Our accommodation is located in Sakanoshita near Hase. Hase is where you can find famous tourist spots like the Great Buddha of Kamakura and hydrangea viewing areas, making it the perfect place for a walk in Kamakura with cafés and workshops along the way. You can also enjoy the pleasures of Kamakura that change with the seasons.

A minute’s walk away from the house is a beautiful sea stretched around the area. Gaze at the sea dyed in the light of the setting or morning sun and relish in the faintly fragrant salty breeze. Here, you can experience a quiet life by the seaside.

Japanese-style Rooms
Once you walk through the corridor and open the sliding door, you will be greeted by a spacious Japanese-style room.
Enjoy a peaceful night listening the sounds of the waves or gathering with your family or friends at Japanese-low table.
6 sets of futons are prepared in another Japanese room. Have a good sleep at two Japanese-style rooms and a Western-style bedroom we prepared for you. -
Bedroom
The Western room is furnished with a bed and nightstand. It is a simple space where you can go to concentrate on your thoughts or reading. The two small beds in the room can easily be used by yourself or with two people.

Kitchen
The kitchen is stocked with simple cooking utensils for cooking a meal. Please have an enjoyable meal using the microwave oven, which can also toast bread, and kettle to brew coffee or tea. A tasty bakery is also within walking distance from the house.

Living, Dining, Kitchen
In the spacious living and dining area is a table that can be used for meals with a large party, easily seating up to eight people. Spend your time as you like in an open space covered in warm light.

Reading Area
At the back of the living room is a comfortable sofa, a warmly lit lamp, and a bookshelf set up to create a relaxing reading area.
During the sunset or after your meal, spend time with a book that interests you. You may just get unexpectedly inspired from encountering a new story. -
Bathroom
The room has been made into a clean space that is easy to use as a washing area while at the same time retaining its traditional ambience. You can feel the warmth of the wood in the bathroom, decorated with soft off-white mosaic tiles.

A neat and simple sink with an impressively sophisticated mirror. The washing machine is installed outside. Please rest assured as you’ll be able to wash your clothes, even if you dirty them from playing in the sea.

Garden
Gaze out into a small garden with a Japanese charm to it outside the windows from the Japanese rooms. Feel the breeze enveloped in the seasonal air and the faint scent of the sea while sitting on the wood deck.

Book
The books on the bookshelf in the reading area were selected by Taraba Bookstore near Kamakura Station and Kunpuudo Books, which also has a studio. Lined up are books that “you should read because you’re here” that will make your stay in Kamakura enjoyable.

Light
AKARI, made with thin bamboo sticks and washi paper, is used for lighting in the Japanese rooms. These lights were created from the meeting between the artist Isamu Noguchi and the skills in traditional crafts and Gifu lanterns. Light emitted from a beautiful form and shape envelop the room in warmth. The Western room uses a lamp handmade by artisans from Gotoh Lighting, a brand with over 100 years of history.

The house is around 40 meters from Route 134. The neighborhood is usually very quiet at night, but you may sometimes feel noise from trucks and modified cars coming from Enoshima.

A large table is equipped in dining room which can see the Japanese garden makes it ideal for a use as remote office. If you go out for a change of mood, a large sea will be there. You may come up with unexpected ideas in a different environment.

First, once you’ve checked in and left your luggage at the house, why not go out onto a walk to the sea? Gaze at the sea dyed in reds from the evening sun, spending a peaceful moment feeling the salty breeze and hearing the sounds of the waves. It’s because this is a time for you to do nothing that it will surely become a precious memory. It’s also great to have a place to go to shower immediately after having fun with water sports.

There is no parking lot at haletto house. Please confirm by yourself.

How many beds and futons are there?
Two single bed and futons for six guests are provided.

Is a charge also applied to infants?
Guests that are elementary school age and older will be calculated as an adult. Toddlers will not be charged.※ Towels and linens are not provided for toddler guests.
