One minute walk to Yasaka Shrine. It is within walking distance to Koudaiji and Kiyomizu-dera, making it a great base from which to explore the Higashiyama area. It is also conveniently located to go out to the downtown area of Shijo.

A quaint building with a blend of Japanese and Western styles
The building was built in the early Showa period (1926-1989) in an eclectic mix of Japanese and Western styles. Rooms are available in Japanese and Western style. There are vestiges of the old days here and there, and you would feel nostalgic.

The hotel is reasonably priced and can be easily accommodated for single travelers.
Enjoy your private time in the private rooms on the second floor and relax with a cup of green tea in the Japanese-style room at the common space on the first floor. It is recommended for use of remote office.

The Higashiyama and Gion area is the center of sightseeing in Kyoto with many temples and shrines and is crowded with people. Yasaka Shrine, Kiyomizu-dera and Kodai-dera are within walking distance from the inn. It is fun to walk or rent a bicycle to get around Kyoto's quaint streets.

It is suggested to use as a "remote office" that can fulfill various work styles. You can enhance concentration toward your work at an ancient inn and be able to feel like a literary writer. Shared space is also available for use!
